Edward Phillip Rossman, 86, of Roselle for 33 years, passed away September 29, 2017. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force; member of Delta Upsilon, Elks Club, Brotherhood of St. Andrew, Vestry Cursillo, and Alumni of the University of Minnesota. Edward was the beloved husband of Brenda Rossman (nee Stevenson) for 54 years; loving father of Marci (Shawn) Dagley; Krista Rossman; and Jodee (Ryan) Dunham; dear grandfather of Quinn and Madison Dagley, Ava, Mason, and Natalie Dunham; son of the late Philip and the late Aargot Rossman; and dear brother of the late Jean Rossman Erwin. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 27, at St. Simon’s Episcopal Church, 717 W. Kirchoff Road, Arlington Heights, IL. 60005. Inurnment at St. Simon’s Columbarium. Casimir J. Saltarski, 83, of Elk Grove Village for 51 years, passed away on October 12, 2017 at Alexian Brothers Hospital surrounded by his family. A Visitation will held at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 20th, at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Casimir was the beloved husband of Joan M. (nee Antoni) for 61 years; loving father of Anthony A. (Cynthia) Saltarski, Theresa J. (Richard) Rozycki and Thomas J. Saltarski; cherished grandfather of Courtney, Anthony, Kacy, Danielle, Samantha, Kyle and Joseph; great-grandfather of Brianna, Emilia and Connolly; dear brother of the late Antoinette Grudzien, the late Stephanie Saltarski and the late Genevieve Kowal. Casimir leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, is appreciated.

Joseph G. Dubenic, 76. Born November 19, 1940 in Chicago, IL, he died October 12, 2017 in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was a Local 1 Boilermaker for Hayes Mechanical for 30 years and retired in 2000. He also served for 4 years with the U.S. Marine Corps. Married to Diana in 1977. Beloved father of Julia (Matt) Watts, Michelle (Mark) Davis, Larry E. Owens II, and Avery (Susan) Owens. Grandfather of the late Nicole, Nathan, Timothy Likovic, Jennifer and Michael Sauber, Kyle and Elizabeth Davis, and Larry E. Owens III. Brother of John (the late Pat) Dubenic and Joan (Tom) Bartkiewicz. Joe was preceded in death by Rose Filipelli and Joan Marks. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., Thursday, October 19th with a service at 7 p.m. Closing prayers Friday at 10 a.m. at Procession to follow to All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Former resident of Itasca and Wood Dale and longtime volunteer at Alexian Brothers Med. Ctr. Loving wife of the late Robert V. (1989); loving mother of Barbara M. (Bud) Pruyn and Marilyn J. (Dennis) Hartley; cherished grandmother of Randy (Susan) Pruyn, Dan, Dale and Donna Hartley; great grandmother of Will and Katie Pruyn; and dear sister of the late Arthur (Shirley) Henne. Private services October 3rd at Grove Memorial Chapel. Interment at Mt. Emblem Cem. The family would like to thank Linda and Sandy from Vitas Hospice for their loving kindness at the end.

Ronald "Ron" Chamerlik, 74, of Elk Grove Village for 44 years, passed away September 24, 2017. Ron was the beloved husband of Nancy M (nee Walsh); the loving father of Mark (Stephanie) Chamerlik; dear brother of Hillard (Rita)Chamerlik and Lillian Bachan. Ron served as an MP with the United States Army, stationed in South Korea, and was a member of the Train Collectors Association (TCA). A visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, from 3 to 9 PM, at Grove Memorial Chapel, with a chapel service Friday, September 29, at 10:30 AM. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL Monday, Oct. 2nd at 1:00 p.m.

Irma M. Lange, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 22, 2017. Born in Chicago and a graduate of Roosevelt High School, she moved to Elk Grove Village in 1960 where she lived in her original home for 57 years. Irma was a devoted daughter to her late parents, Irma M. and John C. Lange, and dear sister to the late Catherine (Lange) Ahlborn. She was the beloved aunt to Jim (Sue) Ahlborn and Margaret (Ron) Stemler, and cherished "auntie auntie" to her grandnieces, Isabelle, Charlotte and Saxon Ahlborn. She was known to lovingly spoil the furry family members, Buster and Felix. She spent her entire career at CNA Insurance, 47 years, where she was employed as an Executive Secretary for Legal Counsel and a long-time member of the company choir. Irma was dedicated to her faith and one of the first parishioners at Queen of the Rosary Church in Elk Grove Village where she served as Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Commentator for many years. She supported many charities and was committed to preserving American historical locations. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, from 3 to 8 PM at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. Please meet at Queen of the Rosary Church for a Funeral Mass on Friday, September 29, at 10 AM. She will be laid to rest with her family at St. Michael Cemetery in Palatine.
