Arthur R. Reinhart, 74, of Elk Grove Village passed away peacefully at Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence on April 21. He was born in Chicago on March 8, 1943 to Harold and Virginia Reinhart. Arthur was a computer consultant for many years before developing his own consulting firm, from which he retired. His past time was spent enjoying fishing and gambling with his family and close friends; also cheering on the Cubs. Art is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Donna M.; he was the loving father Scott and Kevin; cherished grandpa of Kevin Jr. (Samantha), and Janie Mae Reinhart; dear great grandpa of Lilly and Luke, and fond brother of Harold “Skip” (Diane) Reinhart, brother-in-law of Raymond and Diane Germann. Per Arthur’s wish, family members will scatter his cremains. Memorials to the American Lung Association, appreciated.

Elvira L. Rettenbacher nee Bassi 94 yrs. old of Elk Grove Village for 57 yrs. Born in Chicago, she passed away Apr. 19 at Alexian Bros Hospice Residence. Elvira was the beloved wife of Thomas F. for 62 ½ yrs., loving mother of Mary L. (Steve) Halberg, Karen A. Rettenbacher, Judy A. (Tom) Williams and the late Kurt J. (1965) dear sister of Virginia (the late George) Hillman and the late John (Alice) Bassi. She was the cherished grandma of Dawn (Dan) Di Leo, Tracy (Dave) Crouthamel, Mark Halberg and Jake Williams. Great Grandma to Daniel, Josephine and Drake.  For 27 yrs., Elvira was a Minister of Care at Queen of the Rosary Parish; bringing care, comfort and the Eucharist to the home bound also hospital and nursing home patients. Her visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 9 pm at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 Arlington Hts. Rd. Elk Grove Village. Friends and family will gather at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd., Monday for a 10 am Funeral Mass. Private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Queen of the Rosary School would be appreciated.

She was a member of the Red Hatters, Sheila Ray Senior Center and TOPS. Beloved wife of the late Theodore (1989); loving mother of Nancy L. (Stan) Cramer and Deborah A. DiPaolo; cherished grandmother of Lori (Joe) Prendergast, Kim Wilk (fiancé Gregory Robert), Jennifer (Sergio) Rojas, Anthony (Violet) DiPaolo, Michelle DiPaolo, Scott (Rebecca) DiPaolo and great-grandmother of 7. Born in Chicago she passed away April 13, 2017 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Blanche was a loving Homemaker. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. (2012); loving mother of Pamela M. (Ralph) Infusino, Daniel J., Robert T. (Cecilia) and Timothy M. (Linda) Connelly; cherished grandmother of Zach, Erin (Scott) and Dan (Annette) Infusino, Dan, Erica, Kelly, Jake, Ryan, Megan, Eric (Gopi), Scott, and Ian Connelly and great-grandmother of Christopher, Aralyn, Dominic and Jonathan; dear sister of Terry Provo, Geri Smith, the late Marie Krell, the late Tom, the late Gene, the late Bill, and the late Corinne Moore. Beatrice “Betty” Violet Niklos (Dorsch) 87, of Elk Grove Village, died March 8th at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Betty was born June 11, 1929 to Frank and Mary Dorsch (Coy), in Chicago, Illinois. She is a 1947 graduate of Lake View High School and studied at the Moody Bible Institute. Betty went on to work her entire career for the Dettmer’s Building Supply Co. as book keeper and office manager. Betty was the beloved wife of the late John C. Niklo (1991), whom she married in 1955. Both accomplished artists, gardeners and avid travelers, they remained by each others side until John’s death in 1991. Betty was a life long member of Galilee Baptist Church in Chicago, where she devoted herself to running the Sunday School Program and served as the church pianist. Her desire to serve her parish and the Lord was boundless and she found great joy in doing so. Betty is preceded in death by her loving parents and husband, and is survived by her cousin Jane Dwyer of Elgin and the many family members and friends who love her and remember her endless energy, her signature raspberry Jell-O mold. Friends and Family will gather on Tuesday, April 11th, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel. Private burial at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove.

Kathleen A. Dyson, 64, nee Foley, of Elk Grove Village, formerly of Chicago. Loving wife to the late Philip for over 32 years. Cherished daughter of the late James & Margaret. Loving cousin and good friend to many. Kathy faced her numerous health issues with strength and perseverance. Kathy enjoyed movies, music, summer concerts and she loved to travel. Kathy had a sweet & gentle manner and liked talking on the phone and socializing. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to American Diabetes Assn & Foundation for the Blind. Anthony P. Calderaro, 73, of Elk Grove Village for 38 yrs. passed away April 1, 2017. He was a Vietnam Army veteran; a loving family man and die-hard Cubs fan. Anthony was the beloved husband of Linda J. (nee Kirchoff) for 47 yrs.; loving father of Brian (Christy) Calderaro; and cherished papa of Camille, Gina, and Guy. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Hts. Rd., Elk Grove Village with a chapel service on Friday, April 7, at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park in Des Plaines.

Lynn R. Wintz (nee Parnell), 72, a resident of St. Charles and formerly of Elk Grove Village for 63 years. Lynn passed away on April 3, 2017. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Leon; brother Lyle (Dolores); children Lisa (Steve) Szymanski, Lora (Jason Briski), and Lane (Cheree); as well as granddaughter Kaitlyn and step grandchildren Steven and Stephanie. Throughout her life, Lynn worked, among other places, at Jarosch Bakery as a counter clerk and Ridge Elementary School as a lunch mom, retiring from JCPenney Furniture Warehouse after many years in inventory and bookkeeping. At home, she was known as a expert baker (she leaves behind her famous chocolate chip cookie recipe), an avid animal lover, a Scotch drinker (no bottle left behind) and an expert swearer with a wry wit (split equally between her three children). She will be missed. Visitation Saturday April 8 from 3-9pm with a 7pm chapel service at Grove Memorial Chapel.
