Thomas M. Butler, 58, a resident of Evanston passed away December 30, 2016 at Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence. Beloved son of the late Donald F. and survived by Meg Butler; dear brother of Greg (Jackie), Dan (Gail), Mike (Caren), Therese (John) Frawley, and Chris (Matt) Schoaf; cherished uncle of Matt, Erin, Melissa, Ryan, Danielle, Natalie, Liam, Kelly, Tim, Brennan, Shea, Jack, Kieran, and Amanda. Visitation Wednesday, January 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel. Chapel prayers Thursday, 10 a.m., proceeding to St. Julian Eymard Church for 10:30 Mass. Private inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. Memorials to NAMI, Catholic Charities or Threshold are appreciated. Shirley M. Fritz nee Lucas, 84, of Wood Dale, formerly of Northlake. Born October 29, 1932, she passed away December 28, 2016 at Alexian Brother’s Hospice Residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold R. Fritz for 60 years; loving mother of Tom, Tim (Kathy), Kerry (Jerry) Ancona, Gary (Julie), Kelly (Dane) Smith, and Glenn (Veronica); daughter of the late John and Augusta Lucas; cherished grandmother of Shawna (Dan) Bronk, Shannon Fritz, Jim (Lynn) Ancona, Kiley (Dan) Hamilton, Janelle, Alex, Grant, Ben, Mallory and Eddy Fritz, Jeff (Carlie), Jackie (Ryan), Michelle and Marissa Smith, and the late Tommy Fritz; dear great grandmother of 11, fond aunt and loving friend to many. Kenneth G. Bronder Visitation for Kenneth G. Bronder, 67, of Elk Grove Village for 30 years, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. Born in Chicago, he passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 16, 2016. Kenneth retired from Petrochem as a department manager. He was an instructor at Moraine Valley Community College and was an avid golfer. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty L. (nee Prejna) who passed away in 2010; loving step-father of Vanessa (Vince) Leto and Robyn Graham; cherished grandfather of Isabella, Sophia Antonio and Christian; and dear brother of John G. (Judy), the late Arlene (the late James) Case and the late Jacqueline (the late Joe) Janowiak. He also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Marlene A Pouse (nee Serio), 77, of Elk Grove Village 44 for years, passed away on December 16th after a long struggle with cancer. She worked much of her life in the service of others. Marlene leaves behind her beloved husband Joseph of 37 years, her loving children Carol Baker - Renee Smith - Linda (Michael) Larsen - Suzanna Brayer - Pamela Pouse - Roy (Diane) Pouse. She was the cherished grandmother of Ted and Michael - Patrick and Aliena - Kevin - Ashely - Jacob - Candice - Kathy - Kimberly and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Tony and Michael and her parents Sam & Florence Serio. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-9 pm at Grove Memorial Chapel 1199 S. Arlington Hts Rd, Elk Grove Village. Chapel service 10am Wednesday, Internment St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.

Marie J. Wienert, 84, nee Pelinski, a 60 year resident of Elk Grove Village passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was one of 9 children, born at home to Joseph and Mae Pelinski in Des Plaines. Marie was a former 25 year employee of Alexian Brothers Medical Center as switchboard operator and a devoted member of Queen of the Rosary Parish for over 50 years serving many ministries and faith groups. She leaves her beloved husband of 61 years Wallace P. “Wally”, her loving children; Mike Wienert (Marcia), Joan (Scott) Gladstone, Julie (Joseph) Gallagher and Mark Wienert (Kelly), cherished grandchildren; Erin, Mallory, Dan, Jack; brothers Bill, Joe (Evelyn), John (Alice), Dave and sister Marcie (Leo) Doyle and 30 fond nieces and nephews, all tearfully saying goodbye to a good and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Visitation will be Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel. Chapel prayers 9 a.m. Friday, followed by 10 a.m. Mass at Queen of the Rosary Church. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
